this book provides many ideas on how to recognize employees with no/low cost ideas. Many "real-life" practical examples are included. Ideas range form things as simple as praise, to contests and achievement awards. The book provides case studies as well.
At one member’s former employer, (a large regional bank), Human Resources teamed up with Corporate & Community Affairs to provide managers with actual tool kits that contained items and ideas that they could use for employee recognition. Because the "tools" were no-cost or low-cost, managers and supervisors did not need any formal authorization to use these "tools" to reward and recognize their teams. Many of the ideas for what went in this tool-kit came from this book.
